Interview Prep Classes
We're different than most learning centres in several ways:
1. The Quick-fire Method
In order to stand a chance in the secondary school interview your child needs to be the first to answer, if the interview is in group. The faster they answer the more chances they have to show their confidence and English abilities. Our classes have a quick-fire section that prepares them exactly for this: be the first to answer. Making mistakes is something we all do anyway. How much more you value making mistakes, over trying to speak correctly will determine the greatness of the impression you leave on the interviewer(s). Remember: you need to get the chance to speak before they can assess your level. If interviews for secondary schools are competitive, then competition starts with speaking up first."No speak, no chance."

2. Unlearn & Keep Your English Simple!
Simple sentences are often better understood and usually easier to form. In the current primary and secondary schools, teachers tend to overly focus on structures like "passive voice", "indirect speech" and unreal past conditionals. We practise Simple English by transforming difficult sentences into simple English sentences.
Another feature is "describing anything" which is one of the most valuable preparations you can give any student for interview classes. They learn so much more than sentence structure. They learn new vocabulary, especially adjectives and verbs and how they can substitute vocabulary unknown to them at that time with simple English terminology they know now.
Through interaction with their teacher and corrections by their teacher, they get more speaking practice and improve their spoken English ability faster. If you agree, sign up.
3. A safe English Environment
... is an English environment where we teach students that making mistakes is part of training, repetition, until you get it right. In order to learn English FAST you need to make mistakes faster. We introduce card games to teach our students new adjectives, synonyms, antonyms and verbs. This allows them to make mistakes faster also known as 'practice' and enlarges the vocabulary which they need to prepare for secondary school.
