The goal of this course:: to take away your confusion about English correctness. If I'm not doing that, you tell me.

  1. 1. We look at your printed emails together. I point out where and what you can improve and give suggestions.
  2. 2. I point out your commonly-made English mistakes in your email.
  3. 3. I correct your English grammar mistakes and pronunciation mistakes where needed.
  4. 4. I explain grammar structures that are confusing you.

  2. Business Email Tips and Techniques  

  1. 1. Each session you bring your notebook, a pen, a highlighter and your printed email so that we have material to work with and to analyse together.
  2. 2. You learn powerful and useful email tips to write better business email and you write them down and highlight them in the notebook you've received from me.
  3. 3. You will also have to take notes on vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and you highlight your most frequently recurring problems.
  4. 4. You take whiteboard snapshots so that you can revise your class quickly when you have free time.

  3. Review 

  1. 1. You receive your next listening exercise and we check if you can access it before you leave the classroom.
  2. 2. We quickly review what you have learnt, the things you have highlighted during the session.

Do the math, that is 70 times in a week before you arrive at your next class. We call that "your English environment" because most probably you don't have that. The language environment you are currently spending most of your time in is probably in another language than English. Isn't it?

What is the difference between state verbs and action verbs? Once you understand these, you will make fewer mistakes and use the correct verb.

Has over 12 years teaching English experience in Hong Kong to both adults and kids. He simply is a natural. He's got a knack for getting his students motivated and inspired in class!
Inside info: Mr David is quadrilingual. He speaks 4 languages fluently: Flemish, Dutch, English and French. Well, French very good but not so fluent.
